Mac's Biography

In November 2023, Mac McIntire passed away, leaving behind his legacy of helping individuals and organizations achieve their highest potential. Mac was the founder and president of INNOVATIVE MANAGEMENT GROUP, a Las Vegas-based consulting and training firm specializing in organizational effectiveness and management development. Mac was in the training and organizational development field for over 35 years. He did extensive consulting work with Global 500 companies throughout the world.

Mac helped numerous organizations through the strategic visioning and organizational transformation process. He facilitated the team that repaired the Hubble Space Telescope, helped American Express relocate its Travelers Cheque corporate headquarters to Salt Lake City, redesigned the electric distribution business line for Southern California Edison, and facilitated the start-up of a $120 million energy efficiency company in Los Angeles. He also worked with several government agencies on a variety of projects.

Mac was a nationally recognized speaker on Team and Quality management issues. He was a former quality examiner for the U.S. Senate Productivity Awards. He twice received the "Creative Trainer" Award from the American Society for Training and Development and was noted for his unique approach to personal and professional education.

He was the author of the book, "Stepping Forward Together: Creating Trust and Commitment in the Workplace." He also authored or was a contributing author to seven additional books and wrote numerous articles on how companies can create high-performing teams, raise productive output, and develop added-value products and services to ensure long-term profitability and growth.

Paul's Biography

As Mac McIntire's protégé, Paul B. Welling finalized the acquisition of Innovative Management Group incorporating it into his consulting business WELLING ENTREP. As such, Mac's work of helping other Achieve Their Highest Potential, lives on.

Paul is owner and president of Welling EntreP, a Wyoming-based consulting and training firm of which Innovative Management Group is now a part of. Paul has been in the training and personal and organizational development field for over 20 years, beginning with his volunteer service in his Church and at BYU-Hawaii & BYU-Idaho.

Paul has done extensive strategic visioning work with hundreds of small-medium sized businesses and owners spanning the hair salon, biotech, automotive, service, and IT industries, to name a few. Much of this was done during his years as an EMyth Certified Business Coach. Those owners and teams have found purpose in their work, taken back their lives, reduced errors, attracted and retained the right people, created exit strategies, and increased profits and business value by documenting and implementing proven business systems and structure. Paul has started, ran, and exited several small businesses. In 2014, Paul approached Mac about working with him, which led to Paul's full exit from his family’s long-established travel trailer and car dealership to begin full-time work as a coach and consultant. He lives in Wyoming happily married with 6 energetic boys and 2 beautiful girls.
